Global Launch Event, The Energizer Night Race for a Brighter World

The new platform extends beyond advertising to include a series of Energizer night race events. The Energizer Night Race for a Brighter World, in which Energizer and consumers will generate up to 11 million hours of light by donating Energizer solar lighting products to people living in countries where there is no electricity, helping to create safer and more fulfilling work and home environments.


Energizer’s Commitment to Communities in Asia

In Asia, Energizer Korea is committed to a donation program with E-mart (the Korean equivalent of Walmart) for sufferers of children’s cancer. There have been special donation events together with 110 E-mart stores since 2009. One per cent of sales were donated to children suffering from cancer.

In the Philippines, Energizer donated hearing aid devices and batteries to the Kapuso Foundation through the proceeds of the Energizer Night Race 2010. Energizer Indonesia also contributed to relief efforts for Aceh during the catastrophic tsunami of 2004.
